Pennsylvania Lawmakers Assess Possibility Of An Online Gambling Vote

House floor vote could take place next week

Pennsylvanian lawmakers who support the legalisation of online gambling along with other gaming expansion proposals are reportedly canvassing their colleagues' views with the objective of trying for a House floor vote next week, the Pittsburgh Action News reports.
Legislation proposing online gambling and the expansion of casino-style gambling to airports, bars, off-track betting parlours and casino-run websites has been stalled in committee for the past month but could be revived, sources told the newspaper.
There is also talk in the state House of pushing the legalisation of daily fantasy sports, which has just been advanced on a unanimous vote by the House Gaming Oversight Committee in a bill authored by Rep. George Dunbar.
