October results show 30 percent year-on-year gain to $16.7 million
New Jersey's legalised online gambling sector continued to deliver good results in October, according to figures released by the New Jersey Division for Gaming Enforcement, which showed that the sector's performance improved almost 30 percent y-o-y at $16.7 million, maintaining the upwards monthly momentum.
Even the slowing online poker vertical performed better, recording a 25 percent year-on-year rise to $2.4 million, whilst online casino was up 30.4 percent y-o-y at $14.3 million.
Year-to-date performance of the online sector shows that at the ten month point revenues of $161.2 million have already topped those for the full year 2015 ($149 million), with online casino comprising $138.8 million and online poker 22.3 million.

The online casino only Golden Nugget held on to September's leading position in the online sector with revenue of $4.1 million, chased by Borgata ($3.67 million) and another casino-only operator, Tropicana on $3.1 million, with Resorts Digital bringing up the rear despite its Pokerstars partnership on $2.74 million.
