Online casino launches facility that enables players to check whether games are paying out as advertised
Canadian-founded online casino SlotJoint has announced a return-to-player (RTP) checking facility that allows players to assess whether the casino games on offer are paying out as advertised.
A statement from the enterprise names integrity and responsible gaming as areas of importance to players in choosing where to place their business, and says this motivated management to introduce the new service.
The service is linked to the players' accounts, making it possible for the player to ensure that the RTP is as claimed by the games providers – SlotJoint offers games from Microgaming Quickfire, NYX Gaming, Betsoft, NetEnt and Global Gaming Labs.
"We are publishing theoretical RTP disclosed by game suppliers and this can be compared to the actual RTP," a casino spokesman said Thursday.
"SlotJoint calculates actual RTP as an accumulated total across all games that is reported daily, monthly and lifetime. Actual RTP is calculated as (total amount won by players) / (total amount wagered by players)."
The spokesman said that SlotJoint additionally offers standard self-exclusion facilities, and a service that enables players to automatically flush all payment requests – a function developed to promote responsible gaming by helping players to avoid reversing pay-out requests.
"We publish the theoretical pay-out percentages for each game at our site," the spokesman explained. "These payout rates can be viewed from the game tab when the list mode is selected, and players can view their individual RTP in their Player Account. This allows players to double check that the games are paying as advertised."
