Poker bot expands to military strategy
Dubbed ‘Strategy Robot’, poker bot ‘Libratus’ that defeated top poker pros at no-limt Texas Hold’em in 2017 has been enlisted by the US Military on a two year contract worth $10 million, an article written by American, emerging technologies-focused publication, WIRED, reports.
Created by Noam Brown – a PhD student, and Tuomas Sandholm – a professor of computer science, both at Carnegie Mellon University in the US, the Libratus technology has been adapted to respond to Military strategy and planning.
