FanDuel in Deal with Switzerland’s Sportradar AG

In a reported first for the budding U.S sports betting market, the US Bookmaker FanDuel, have reached an agreement with Swiss company Sportrader AG which will see the FanDuel being able to stream games live via their app.

FanDuel which is controlled and owned by Paddy Power Betfair is set to formally announce today this news, which is sure to go down well with sports bettors in the United States.

Recently Niall Connell,  the general manager of the sportsbook at FanDuel Group said of the product that they offer their customers: “We’re trying to build the most engaging and entertaining sports betting experience in the U.S”

It was only last year in May 2018 that the US Supreme Court ruled that allowed sports betting, overturning a Federal Law that had existed since 1992 that outlawed the activity in all but a few states.

Subsequently there have been moves by the major players in the sports betting arena who have flexed their financial muscles, by ensuring they have a foothold in the potentially extremely lucrative US market place.
