Important Deal For G.a.n. In The United States

Simulated Gaming supply contract inked with leading Atlantic City land and online casino group

Game Account Network (recently rebranded GAN) has announced another US contract for its Simulated Gaming online gambling product, this time with Atlantic City land and online gambling group (and New Jersey online market leader) Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa.
GAN notes that its popular product could be used in licensed and regulated markets such as New Jersey for real-money gaming, but says that the main objective of the Borgata deal is to boost on-property presence and enhance the casino company's relationship with its customers in the social online casino gaming context.
In a statement announcing the deal, Dermot Smurfit, GAN chief executive, said Thursday:
"In 2016 Simulated Gaming will be served to the majority of Borgata's patrons who live out-of-state and, in the event GAN receives Borgata's consent to commence operations is equally capable of simultaneously serving real money regulated gaming to the Borgata's patrons resident in New Jersey."
New Jersey is one of three US states that have legalised online gambling, and the market has been growing steadily, delivering online casino revenues in New Jersey up 33 percent at $125 million.
Tom Balance, president Borgata Casino Hotel and Spa, said: "This launch will add another business segment to Borgata's portfolio and will further diversify Borgata's varied offerings. We also take great comfort in having GAN's excellent real money Internet gaming product available to us as needed."
