Miami resident Luis Calvo quadrupled his lifetime earnings when he took down the 2017 World Series of Poker Event 49, the $3,000 Pot-Limit Omaha 6-Handed tournament this week.
Calvo emerged victorious out of heads-up play with Rudolph Sawa, winning his first WSOP gold bracelet and a $362,185 first prize.
Event 49 attacted 630 total entrants, creating a prize pool of $1,701,000.
