GeoComply launches "Solus" for daily fantasy sports operator
With political and enforcement eyes increasingly focussed on the daily fantasy sports vertical, operator DraftDay Gaming Group announced Thursday that it has taken on board GeoComply's "Solus" geo-location technology.
GeoComply says Solus has been specially designed for the needs of the rapidly evolving daily fantasy sports sector, and provides geolocation and anti-fraud solutions tailored for the particular operational and market needs of the vertical.
"DFS is one of the fastest growing sectors in the United States today," said GeoComply chief executive Anna Sainsbury. "We have designed Solus to fit the specific characteristics of the daily fantasy sports market, where ease of UX and speed of transaction is key, while ensuring that the increased need for geolocation services within the DFS industry is met."
Rich Roberts, CEO of DraftDay, said in a statement: "By teaming up with GeoComply, the market-leader in geolocation services, we are providing our players with the highest level of consumer confidence with a unique user-friendly, B2B platform required to meet the demands of a rapidly changing environment."
