The Mississippi Gaming Commission have given the green light for a new casino development to be built and opened in Hancock County.
The approval, which has been provided to the developer Cure Land Company, could see the casino built on a 100 acre development, just a few miles from the 129-room Silver Slipper Casino Hotel.
The casino being proposed, could feature a floor space of 40,000 square feet, with the provision of over 1000 slot machines being situated within it, as well as over 20 casino table games in place.
The casino would form part of a 300 room hotel and leisure complex.
