FantasyDraft acquires Fantasy Aces
Fantasy Sports operator FantasyDraft has entered into an acquisition deal for fellow operator Fantasy Aces' player base and corresponding balances, amongst other assets.
The consideration was not disclosed.
Update: An acquisition agreement between fantasy sports operators Fantasy Draft and Fantasy Aces has reportedly fallen through less than a week after the deal was announced following a due diligence process.
In a subsequent development Fantasy Aces filed a Chapter 7 bankruptcy protection with the Santa Ana, CA Bankruptcy Court seemingly leaving its customers in a precarious situation as initial reports suggest there is very little money left. Fantasy Aces website has gone black with a message on the landing page stating "an update coming shortly, please stand by."
