Nevada Live And Online Poker Celebrates Seventh Month Running Of Growth

But the state iPoker market is believed to be worth less than $10 million annually

The latest overall poker revenue figures for November 2017 (the state’s statistics do not differentiate live from online poker) show that poker revenues from 62 state cardrooms and the single online poker operator raked a combined $8.9 million last month, a marginal growth of 0.44 percent year on year, and the seventh consecutive month of growth.

In terms of year-to-date, the total of $118.3 million was up half a percentage point year-on-year, with June the best month in a decade, thanks mainly to the annual World Series of Poker live tournament, which saw entries rise 12.2 percent year-on-year.

Over the past decade the number of live cardrooms has dropped from 106 to 62 this year. Analysts have estimated that the online sector of the Nevada market is probably less that $10 million annually in value.
