Caesars Entertainment Group have named a new regional president for their three Atlantic City based casinos, with the New Jersey state gaming regulator set to consider providing their approval later on this week.
Caesars currently operate three land based casinos in Atlantic City, these are Bally’s Atlantic City, Caesars Atlantic City and Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City, also operating an online operation, in the form of Caesars Interactive.
The group have put forward Ronald Baumann to assume the role of regional president, with New Jersey’s Casino Control Commission set to consider approving a temporary casino key employee license for Baumann on Wednesday.
The current Chief Operations Officer of Rush Street Gaming, a position he undertook in September 2016, if Baumann’s appointment is rubber stamped by the New Jersey Casino Contol Commission on Wednesday, it will see him return to Caesars Entertainment, where he spent over 17 years in their employment. With his previous role at the group being based in Philadlephia.
Baumann would be replacing Kevin Ortzman, who let Caesars back in August this year. Ortzman also held the position of President of the Casino Association of New Jersey and a member of the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority executive board.
