BMM Testlabs hires former Eastern Shawnee Gaming Commission exec
The international gaming testing laboratory and technical consultancy BMM Testlabs has announced the appointment of Ashley Burnside, formerly of the Eastern Shawnee Gaming Commission, as its Tribal Services Manager.
Based in Miami, OK, Burnside will join Jodi DiLascio, director of tribal gaming, to provide support, training and technical compliance assistance to tribal gaming regulators across the USA.
Burnside brings over 12 years of tribal gaming regulatory experience to BMM. Starting her career at Peoria Gaming Center in Miami, OK Burnside oversaw slot and cash operations for the opening of Buffalo Run Casino in 2004.
In 2008 she joined her own Tribe, the Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma's Gaming Commission, as a gaming inspector to oversee the development of what is now Eastern Shawnee's EGM Compliance Department.
Burnside was instrumental in developing many of the approved tribal regulations that are still used today and in 2013 she was promoted to EGM Compliance Supervisor.
