Online Gambling Companies Receive Awards In Las Vegas

Global Gaming Awards recognise 888Poker, Microgaming, NYX and Playtech

Online gambling companies were among the 12 awards made during the Global Gaming Awards festivities in Las Vegas this week which followed an intensive judging process conducted by a panel of 60 independent judges, and audited by KPMG Gibraltar.
888Poker clinched a reward for being the Digital Operator of the Year, whilst Microgaming repeated its 2015 success in winning the Digital Product of the Year for its popular Quickfire platform offering.
The Digital Industry Supplier accolade went to Playtech, an improvement on its runner-up performance at the Awards last year, and the Digital Innovation award went to NYX Gaming for its Witch Pickings slot.
The Unibet group was acknowledged as the best in the Digital Acquisition Program of the Year category, and the geo-location provider GeoComply was judged the winner of the Responsible Business award.
On the digital border, IGT's Playspot software took home the Casino Product of the Year in an illustration of the importance of developing mobile products for use within land casino premises.
Mobile was also at the centre of the Land-Based Gaming Innovation award, which went to Scientific Games for its SG Universe, a mobile gaming solution selected by more than 125 casinos via 91 apps.
