Proven gambling industry veteran Rich Schneider is to join the board of Scientific Games midway through next year in 2021. Schneider who has a proven track record working in the gambling industry, will join Scientific Games in the role as Chief Product Officer. With Schneider’s responsibilities including overseeing Scientific Games’ product strategy.
Furthermore Schneider will be responsible for defining the company’s R & D roadmaps and furthering Scientific Games’ position as a product and technology leader in gaming.
Speaking about the announcement of Schneider’s appointment next year, Scientific Games’ President and Chief Executive Officer, Barry Cottle, said: “Rich’s expertise in design, development and gaming makes him the perfect complement to our Scientic Games leadership team.”

The appointment of Schneider seems to be a shrewd move by Scientific Games, as he brings with him over 30 years experience working in the gaming industry, having also held a similar position at Aristocrat.
Also commenting on Schneider’s appointment, Scientific Games Group Chief Executive, Matt Wilson, added: “Rich has an incredible ability to build a culture that allows creative talent to thrive. He’s overseen complex transformations of product organizations and our team will benefit greatly from his expertise and leadership.”
