"the Professor" Returns At World Series Of Poker

Howard Lederer follows Chris Ferguson to the tables

Memories – not all of them pleasant – returned for some poker players at the World Series of Poker over the weekend when former Full Tilt Poker director Howard "The Professor" Lederer made his first appearance at a major poker event for some years.
Earlier in the week former fellow director Chris "Jesus" Ferguson also made an appearance, perhaps signalling the end of the duo's voluntary absence from the poker scene following the FTP debacle five years ago.
Neither player would comment on the past when approached by curious reporters.
Lederer recently published a long letter apologising for his actions in the Full Tilt scandal, using Daniel Negreanu's blog as a widely read vehicle.
Lederer, who is a two-time WSOP bracelet holder, anted up the $10,000 buy-in and took a seat in the Single Draw Championship event at the Rio.
He was still in action, albeit with a low chip stack, late Saturday night Las Vegas Time with 60 of the 90 entrants still active in a field that featured a galaxy of top international poker players.
