Veteran Grinder Earns His First World Series Of Poker Bracelet

Kyle Bowker earns his bracelet at last… after over 200 entries in WSOP events

Veteran online and live tournament grinder Kyle Bowker (33) from New York has secured his first World Series of Poker bracelet at last after more than 200 entries in WSOP events over the years… and the first prize of $294,960 in the $3,000 buy-in Pot Limit Omaha Eight of Better tourney made the achievement that much sweeter.
473 players entered the event, creating a prize pool of $1.29 million, with plenty of high profile professionals in the field, including Richard Ashby, Noah Bronstein, Scott Clements, Marco Johnson, Ari Engel, Jon Turner, Galen Hall, Andrei Zaichenko, John Cernuto and Brett Shaffer.
Washington state poker pro Kate Hoang (33) did well at the final table and at one point held the chip lead and appeared set to become this series' third female bracelet holder. However she came up short in the heads up against Kyle and had to be content with a still-impressive $182,281 runner-up cash.
For Kyle it was the achievement of another goal as he held the bracelet for photographs before walking off to collect his 35th WSOP cash, bringing his career earnings online and at the live tables to almost $5 million.
Other final table cashes included:
Jarred Graham $124,360
Richard Ashby $86,422
Christopher Ruby $61,196
Noah Bronstein $44,171
Daniel Lowe $32,510
Scott Clements $24,409
Paul Taylor $18,702
