West Virginia Takes Another Punt At Legalising Online Gambling (update)

Second interactive gambling bill filed this month

West Virginia lawmakers filed a second interactive gambling bill, HB 3067, this week seeking to legalise Internet gaming, managed and licensed through existing authorized gaming facilities in West Virginia.
InfoPowa readers will recall the introduction to the West Virginia House of HB2751 “Legalising Sport Pool Betting” earlier this month (see previous InfoPowa reports) sponsored and filed by five of the delegates who have authored HB 3067.
The bill, which proposes a 14 percent tax on GGR and a license fee of $50,000, currently sits before the House Judiciary Committee.
