World Series Of Poker Main Event Day 3 (update)

1,011 players now in the money

Adam Furgatch was the bubble boy, earning a $10,000 seat at next year's World Series of Poker main event after busting out at the critical 1,011 elimination level in the main event before reaching the money Friday.
The third day (and the first in which the survivors of all the starting flights combined) ended with 800 players still standing from the original entry list of 6,737… and among the many high profile players who fell during the day was last year's champ, Joe McKeehan.
Celebrity casualties included comedian Ray Romano and hedge fund manager David Einhorn, whilst the professional player toll included Phil Hellmuth, Stephen Chidwick, David Benyamine, Doug Polk, Andy Black, Sofia Lovgren, Adrian Mateos, Tobias Reinkemeier, Scott Seiver, Fabian Quoss, Todd Brunson, Keven Stammen, Dario Sammartino, Ted Forrest, Craig McCorkell and Jen Harman, JC Tran, Bertrand 'ElkY' Grospellier, Tony Dunst, JC Alvarado, Michael Mizrachi, Martin Staszko and Anthony Zinno.
Going into Day 4 Saturday, Kenny Hallaert leads the 800 survivors on 1,709,000, chased by Jared Bleznick (1,607,000) and Duy Ho (1,480,000).
